People come to unschooling through a search for alternatives to conventional school and curriculum-based homeschooling. It’s good to remind ourselves along the way that the goal of unschooling is not academic. It has little to do with conventional benchmarks of achievement, and a great deal to do with our daily, ongoing choices as parents to have a more peaceful, respectful, joyful, satisfying relationship with our kids.
